Choosing Colored Contacts According to Skin Tones

Colored contacts not only changes your eye color, but also put a great impact on your overall look. It has become an important part of your fashion regime. 
You can get cat eyes, vampire eyes, doe eyes, Barbie eyes or different iconic styles. They have varying effects on people, and it may lead towards fashion blunder if the contacts do not appeal with your skin tone.

There are several factors to consider to find the right type of color contacts that best matches with your skin tone.



Fair skin: Fair skins look good almost in all kinds of contacts. You can go with warm shades such as brown or honey to give an elegant touch to your personality. To develop magical gazes, aqua and turquoise colored lenses are the perfect one. Similarly, violet or blue ones look fantastic on bright skins with an eyeliner and mascara touch. 

Medium skin tone: These types of skin tones range from a light olive to honey. They provide more flexibility in color choices for lenses. Complementary colors for medium skin tones range from hazel, gray, brown, honey, green, gray and violet.

Warm skin tone: Warm skin tone is something like natural brown or honey shade. This type of skin tone can get a flattering look with all hazy or light-colored  lenses. Don’t go for bright or vibrant colors such as blue, red or green.
